how to make angklung

steps :

1. choose bamboo

Bamboo is main material from angklung. selected based on minimum fours years and no more from six years. bamboo was be cut at nine clock in the morning to three clock in the afternoon. after cut base from bamboo tree, with size 2-3 span from surface soil, bamboo was be kept for one week, so the bamboo didn't contain water. after one week, bamboo should be separated from its branches , cut to specific size and keep for about a year to prevent from pest. bamboo was be stored by soaking in a puddle of mud , ponds , rivers , smoked in the hearth or added certain chemicals.

3. tuning process

this is process of forming a blade bamboo to sound. it's process of blowing the bottom of the tube angklung and equate his voice to the instroment tuner. this process is done by raising and lowering the tone with the ring tone with a chisel to both sides of the tube with a carving knife.how to use the turner tool:

·      For example , if you will create a tone of " F " , you have to shake angklung while considering both of light which will light up simultaneously , and for the needle that will show the number " F "
